Nagios - No access to frontend
Hello There,
I have just set up a PC running OpenSUSE 11.1, and installed Nagios 3.0.6 and plugins. All installation and verification of installation went fine, but when using 'http://localhost/nagios/' or 'http://ipaddress/nagios/' it just times out. I've not managed to get it to run since I first built the PC and installed everything. So any way I could get it up and running would be great! ![]() Regards |

Re: Nagios - No access to frontend
Hi,
Have you checked your firewall and made sure that you are able to reach it. Even though it is on the local system sometimes it gets blocked. Also, if there was a log file then you might want to look there and see if you have anything there. I haven't every used Nagios so I am not too sure. I can do a little look and see what I find. Cheers!

Re: Nagios - No access to frontend
Hello There,
The firewall is disabled, I was thinking that may have been that but unfortunetly no. The log files show no errors of any sort (unlike the Windows log files haha). Anyway, I have went over the installation I made of Opensuse and Nagios and verified all of that. So no ideas of what went wrong , any more ideas anyone?Regards |

Re: Nagios - No access to frontend
Hi,
I might have a look at the docs page from the nagios website. I didn't read the whole think but it looks like there is some good information there. Start with that and if you still don't have an answer we can look else ware. Cheers!
