Most drivers are already found for a linux distro. They are built into the kernel. If you are trying to be funny I don't get it. If not try to explain yourself more...

Re: -Something Anyone thinking about linux should know-

I don't see a reason to have driver issues on Windows after installing Linux (although I rarely use Windows personally). For Linux it shouldn't really be an issue either. As wmorri pointed out, most drivers on a Linux system will be included with the kernel.

From what I've seen, many binary-based distributions, like Ubuntu or Debian Linux, build them as modules then try to autodetect what should be loaded. Others can be manually added to the list. On a source-based distribution, like Gentoo Linux, you select what should be compiled with the kernel yourself (with the help of the nice install guide). The only out-of-kernel driver I use is the nVidia driver (video drivers are one of the few that I'd expect to be out-of-kernel - some are with X.Org).
