Backup Linux
Is it possible to create a backup of my system and restore it on a different hard drive? If not, how can I just back it up?

Re: Backup Linux
Here's a thread that may help some: Looking for a back up program
Yes, you should be able to restore your backup to a new drive (assuming your backup is properly stored on a drive different from the one being backed up). If you wanted, you could even mirror the drive. For mirroring the drive, I'd use rsync. The other backup methods I'd look at are in my post in the above thread. Example rsync usage: sudo rsync -avxHh old_drive_partition new_drive_partition boxbackup seems interesting too, but I've never really used anything other than rsync and tar on Linux. The other hard drive would need GRUB to be installed.
