Install adsl modem for linux

Hi, Can anybody help?

I need to connect my BSNL adsl C2110 broadband modem. Downloaded lippoe from bsnl site in .exe format. but it is not getting insalled by wine or run. How to install it?

Welcome to TSF!!

I am curious why do you need the lippoe file from the bsnl site to connect the modem to the net. I also don't think that you need wine. Shouldn't you just be able to set it up via PPPoE. Can you tell me what OS you have and then I can help you walk through setting it all up.
