Tuxguitar issues
Anyone here have any experience with Tuxguitar? I'm using Timidity with freepats sound samples to play a couple of songs I wrote in Guitar Pro on my Windows partition. I'd like to rid myself of Windows for good, but Guitar Pro is the only thing holding me back. I've installed Guitar Pro under Wine, but it's still a little bit unstable. I decided to get tuxguitar to replace it. My issue is with the sound playback. The timing is extremely off, almost like the computer is having trouble keeping the beat to the song. I'm sure it's not the computer being overloaded, as this doesn't happen with Guitar Pro under Windows. Running Ubuntu 8.10.
