how to get net in Fedora 8.0 OS

I have installed Fedora 8.0 in my computer recently. I am not getting how to connect to net using wireless mode.Please show me the way.

Hi,

Can you go the the Network Manager, to get there right-click on the two computers at the top, then choose Edit Connections. From there you will get a Network Connections box. Next click on the wireless tab, and see if you have any connections. If you do see if you can connect to one of them.

If that doesn't work you can try a method through terminal. To do this you will need to type this into terminal.

Code:

iwlist wlan0 scan

It will scan for all avalable wireless networks and see what is there. Then you can see if there is an SSID that you know is the one that you are trying to connect to.

See if either of those options work, and we can go from there.
