joystick port
I have a C prog to read from game port but am confused on some points. My system has sound card included in motherboard (realte(ch/k)). Joystick documentation says to make joystick ports and modprobe joydev, ns558, serport, and analog which seems to go well (checked with lsmod). Other info wants emu10k1, emu10k1-gp also but the former is not available.
If I had a physical sound card I could understand the need to set it up but since it is in the motherboard I don't. There was other conflicting info I googled so can someone tell me if setting up this "internal" sound card is necessary (note: gameport shows in lsmod)? Maybe give a little guidance on setting this up for 2.6 kernels? |
