hplip python-dbus ver. 0.80+ required

I have an hp Deskjet D4260 printer.
My RHEL v5.1 didn't recognize it .

So i decided to search the appropriate drivers for my printer
under hp official site . There i found the hplip-2.8.12.
I downloaded and installed it via Automatic_Installer_HPLIP_Self_Extracting_Installer

But when linux starts hpssd doesn't start
so i manually restart the hpssd

[root@localhost init.d]# hplip restart
bash: hplip: command not found
[root@localhost init.d]# sh hplip restart
Stopping hpiod: [ OK ]
Stopping hpssd: [FAILED]
Starting hpiod: [ OK ]
Starting hpssd: warning: python-dbus not installed.
error: dbus failed to load (python-dbus ver. 0.80+ required). Exiting...
[FAILED]
i found the dbus-python-0.83.0.tar.gz

I extracted and installed it with the following commands

# ./configure
# make
# make install

But when i made manually restart of the hplip the same results appears

Starting hpssd: warning: python-dbus not installed.
error: dbus failed to load (python-dbus ver. 0.80+ required). Exiting...
[FAILED]
Is there anything else that i must do except from the three commands

# ./configure
# make
# make install

in order to install the python-dbus ver. 0.80+ ????

Please help me....
