OS: UBUNTU 8.04
|
This USB wireless adapter is recommended by Ubuntu, but it is giving me fits. I am running ubuntu 8.04. I get 4-bars signal strength and access to the internet but so many errors occur that the system eventually locks up.
I am running bmon to view the errors; got 670,000 is just a few minutes of operation. I get no errors with cable. Bad adapter? Incorrect driver? I don't know how to procede. |

Hi, I need to know what you did to install drivers for you dongle. I can't seem to find any true linux drivers for your dongle. Who recommended the dongle to you in the first place, and did they give you any help or ideas on how to install it to your system. Cheers!
