Re: Virtualbox kernal driver not installed

Hi,

Can you tell me if the steps that you went through to install virtualbox are the same as the ones that I listed. Go to the Virtualbox website and then downloaded the correct .deb file for 8.04. Opened the file in the installer and let it run its course.

Then a configure box pop-up. Was there a question that asked if the vboxdrv kernel module be compiled now? If so did you make sure that there was a check in the box?
Next did you click on the forward button. Then you were able to close the installer.

Next you tell me what you do to get the message that you are getting? Plus any other information that you want to tell use that would be important.

Cheers!

Hi,

No problem! Glad you were able to fix it on your own. If you mark your thread as solved that would be great.

Cheers!
