Media Player Problem!!!

I have sony vaio CR363 and i have just replaced the vista home premium with
Fedora 9. I have installed all updates. also i have installed XINE and VLC
but when i run them, xine is giving me error like,

"There is no demuxer plugin available to handle 'file /usr/share/xine/skins/xine-ui_logo.mpv' Usually this means that the file format was not recognized.

and i when i run VLC then nothing happens so where is the problem??

i have ATI Mobility Radeon X2300 graphics card.

how i can i check it is recognized perfectly and working at its peak?

where is the problem?

Re: Media Player Problem!!!

Hi,

I would recommend that you try what lensman3 said and also you might want to try downloading another set of plugins for your media players. Take a look at Livna.org. They make a set up rpm files that aren't in the core group of extras. You can use them to play media files and it should help you with your problem.

Cheers!
