Dual boot xp with ubuntu linux question

hi everyone

on my laptop i set up a dual boot system this is how i did it
i partitioned the hdd 50% and installed xp home on that half once that was set up i installed ubuntu 8.04 on the other half it has worked fine but my windows got a virus and is stuffed so i need to reformat and re-install xp,

my question is will installing xp again now stuff up the ubuntu?

cus i head that u need to install xp first then ubuntu cause xp wont run if ubuntu has already been installed

i think it works better with ubuntu if you have xp first then ubuntu installed next but i'll give it a try

If you read the article it tells you how to dual boot with Ubuntu on first, but you can do it whichever way you want to.
