Help Lost password

we are using lilo 22.1 and we cannot remember the password, what is the easiest way to reset it or retrieve it? I am not very knowlegable with linux so could someone be specific

Unfortunately giving out informaiton on how to regain passwords is against the rules of this forum - expext this post to be closed by a passing moderator soon.
