removing ubuntu from dual boot dell

l have vista and ubuntu on my laptop,,,,i want to remove ubuntu from computer
l have a dell and the problem is on start up it gives me choices to pick which one to use i dont want to have to icant figure out how to remove it.
in fact i cant even get on it so i have shut down if it starts.
can anyone help thanks.

sad to hear that you want to remove linux in your PC, but anyway

no sure about Vista!, in Windows XP dual boot with linux i do the following

1. boot my machine to a windows 98SE boot disk or any boot disk/CD with DOS/FDISK
2. run fdisk/mbr
3. reboot the machine.
4. viola! linux is gone!
