OS: Windows XP with SP3


D2K on Ubuntu

Hi I 've installed Ubuntu and its working fine. Now I need to install D2K forms and reports. But i am unable to install the .tar file. Just I have extracted ted the file. can anybody help in this regard by providing the installation procedure or any websites that can help in this regard. Also how can i install a printer driver like Epson EX1000 or Epson LQ2550 compatible drivers in linux.

There are two ways to go about this. The first is to install a program called alien. This is a program that will convert the file for you in terminal.

The other way is to cd to the directory that you want to install the program, then type
Code:
./configure
make
make install
This will convert and install the program for you. Choose whichever one you like more.
