Help Me Dual Boot Please!!!!

Hey i tried to follow some instructions to dual boot vista and linux but now i cant get back into Vista AND Linux isnt picking up my wireless network for some reason. I'm so screwed right now.

I found a help on this forum but it gets a little to technical for me to follow i need a slightly more dumbed down version someone help please i cant get back into vista

Linux Kubunto i think it slike 8.0.4? or somethign

Vista Home Premium on a Dell XPS 1530 with a 320gb hard drive and 4gb ram

Restart the PC. As soon as the boot up begins, press the F8 key. It's more successful if you tap continually the screen should come up to give you a choice of which system you want to boot.

I wish it were that simple :( its not that when i do that i only get options to load Kbunutu/Kubuntu recover mode/ and System Test

By the way F8 Does nothing on my computer? maybe its because im using vista and you are XP?>?? but it does give option to hit esc to enter bootloader and when i do that that is when i get the 3 options none of which are vista

Oh my god people please help as is this computer is now a useless piece of crap I'm on a one way road to ripping my own head off.... I cant reinstall vista from the DVD because for some reason my drives arent the right format anymore NTFS? or w/e and when i try to reformat them it doesnt work someone PLEASE help if you have to post your phone number and ill call you ill do anythin im so screwed right now im running Kubuntu and i tried doing a reverse Dual boot (setting up teh dual boot with Linux first) but i cant figure out how to repartition drives from Kubuntu PLEASE Help guys PLEASE

were you trying to install the linux on the same drive/partition as vista?

Here is a walkthrough with screenshots that is really good.vista/linux dualboot. I think that this should help you out a lot.
