ubuntu bios help
hi. i recently got an IBM ThinkPad 390 for free. it wasn't a very good machine so i bought a new 160 gig hard drive and i stick of ram (256) but the hard drive didn't have an operating system on it so i downloaded ubuntu 8.04 for it. now i have every thing installed. when i tried to install ubuntu to it it said that the bios for it was to old to run ubuntu and i cant find any bios new enough to run it. the oldest it will take it 2000 and all i can find is 1999. if anyone has any ideas on how the fix this or where i can get bios it would be greatly appreciated.
