I do not know the model, though. I believe there are four in the series.

Kubuntu is not yet installed.

Hey, did you google? i googled "WUSB54G ubuntu" and found a wealth of information, it seems that your adapter is compatable with ndiswrapper, google the instructions for installing ndiswrapper and i'm sure you'll find loads...
