Re: Dual Monitors and Ubuntu?
I am going to assume that you had dual monitors running in Vista. That being said, if you look at the back of your laptop, and see if you have two VGA ports in the back. If you do then you can connect two monitors to it.
As for setting up a dual monitor system. It is pretty easy. First go to the System menu > Administration > Screens and Graphics. You will have to input you admin password then a screen will pop up for you. Then you will see 2 tabs. One says Screens and the other one is for Video cards. You will only need to deal with the Screens one. It is pretty self explanitory once you get to looking at it. See if you have any problems with it and we can help you. Cheers!
