Twisted Linux Wireless help??

I recently received a copy of "Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition" and installed it on my PC and was unable to connect to the internet, ive tried trouble shooting, but i cannot seem to be able to connect to the internet.

My wireless internet card is a D-Link 108 MIMO


please help me:)

D-Link = D-Worst lol

I dont think its supported under ubuntu, i know my linksys wireless g isnt, stick with the ethernet cable. never fails!

I dont believe that the DLink series cards are supported by default on Ubuntu 8.x series, in order to get this working you may want to give ndiswrapper a shot check out https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Wi...er/Ndiswrapper this guide is pretty exhaustive and has helped me quite a bit dealing with wifi and ubuntu. Hope this helps :)
