installing emulators

Hi

I need help. i am running freespire 1.0.13 and i got an emulator for windows. I tryed installing it but was unsucssesful. I have never installed anything on linux befor. Could someone plz give me step by step instructions on hw to install it plz. any help would be apprisheated.

What emulator did you get? Did you get any error messages during the install?

i go win4lin. and i dont even know how to start the install. i dounloaded it on my dads xp and put it on a flash drive and put it in a file on mine. but that is all i know.

I'd start by looking at ftp://ftp.vbridges.com/pub/releases/...ers-Guide.html. I'd look through the user guide and see what they recommend as the correct install path based on your distribution. You might find it easier to install the Win4Lin package by using the CNR application utility provided free with Freespire. Check here for more instructions on using CNR

Go and install vmware.com free virtual machine server. You will have to have a fully licensed and paid for Windows Operating system client. That way the windows software you install will think that it is running on a real Windows machine.
