How to make everything not so tiny on ubuntu?on windows u can change the screen size

I think that's what I need to do.. but I don't know how..

"Screen size" and other video configurations are part of your video driver. If you are using an Nvidia product, install the proprietary drivers. If you have an ATi product, you have a 50/50 chance of having real video. ATi does not stay on top of Linux drivers like Nvidia. In either case, the stock drivers will get you video, just not decent video.
