How to install drivers on linux for NEWBS
Can anyone tell me how to instal the driver for my wireless card on linux? i have knoppix 5.1 live cd. i have a dlink wireless card. also i have no idea how to run programs for linux and when i try to install the drivers its all a plain text document. i have copy and pasted in shell but it doesnt work can anyone help!?!? thank you for any suggestions

Please provide the model number of the D-link.
Basically, if a native driver won't work, then a program called ndiswrapper will work using the windows driver. But first, we need to determine what chip you have in your wireless card. |

Gajorange more info is needed to help you. ;^)
What O/S are you trying to get this wireless card working on ? Can you be more detailed about the wireless card ? [exact card name and model number/S.N. number] Then we can find out if the D-Link card has Linux support. NDISwrapper may be the fix or it may not, more info will be needed for your issue.
