Can not get on PCLOS
when I turn on the PCLOS Linux it starts up and goes to a white blank screen with 2 terminal windows on it, one is at the top left the other at the bottom right. I tried a few commands and its doing nothing. Once the windows is up and can only turn it off with the switch. My wife was using it and tried to click off the internet and punched a wrong button. Re: Can not get on PCLOS
hal= Hardware Abstraction Layer. It is hanging while detecting your hardware. I think your video card is mis-configured; you are getting a low grade gui. A command like "halt" or "reboot" will stop the machine or reboot it while in that mode.

Re: Can not get on PCLOS
No. From what I have read I'm down to a reinstall. There nothing on the PC. A reinstall is no problem. If there was a way to fix it with out a lot of work. I just wanted to know how. Thanks Fred.
