Re: fedora 8 intel pro wireless 2200bg
Hi Huza08.
ipw2200 should be fully supported in Fedora Core 8 (all required drivers etc installed with OS). Can you describe your problem a bit better? Why do you say that it's 'not working'? To install software, just open the Applications menu and choose Add/Remove Programs. For more information, look here: http://www.fedorafaq.org/ Regards |

Re: fedora 8 intel pro wireless 2200bg
OK. How is your network set up? Are you using WPA?
When you go to 'Applications' -> 'Add/Remove Programs' there should be a list of software etc that is available for you to install. Is there something specific that you want to install? |

Re: fedora 8 intel pro wireless 2200bg
Hi HuzA08, can you share more detail on what did you do to get it working?
I am sure other people will appreciated it as well. I have an IBM T42 laptop with Intel 2200BG and I could NOT get the wireless to work since FC5 until now, I am running Fedora 9 but still have to use wired network for it ( Note that the wireless works fine under XP Pro SP2, but I'd like to use Fedora). |
