Running windows progams in linux
Hi
I am runing linux freespire and I herd about people running windows programs in linux. I have some windows xp pograms that i need to use is there any way i could run them in linux? any help here would be grately appreciated. If it is even posible. |

Look for a Linux application call WINE. It is a windows emulator on top of Linux.
Also look at products similar to VMWare (vmware.com). You can install XP, Vista, 2000, DOS, 98, 95, 3.1 etc on a vm machine and run your programs there. You will need a legal copy of the Microsoft product (XP, 2000, Vista,etc) to run your programs. There is a free vmware client that works fine. |
