My System

hard drive problems

my hard drive, when i made it into a ntfs system, ever since it started acting up, making wierd sounds and stuff. now, it starts up with a low, then high noise, like it's litterally trying to tell me it's gonna die. what do i do? and no, i don't wanna hear get a new one.

Back up your data.

Formatting your system drive would not cause the drive to make noise.

Are you running some kind of power management, like on a laptop?

i figured out that it's the motherboard or something else, cuz when i start up and put in a different drive, it still makes the sound. i'll just change my motherboard.
