Hi All,
I accidentally deleted all the mail from company's mail server (sendmail on fedora 2.6) and I have no backup. I have no idea how to recover them. Is there any way to recover the mails on mail server. Thanks |

Re: Mail Recovery
In my experience and what others have told me in *nix land what is deleted is gone.
HOWEVER, and I have no experience with this, I once ran into a script on the web (may have been in Linux Journal or Linux Magazine) which claimed to recapture deleted files. The critical matter is that the area where your deleted files resided must be set aside so no one can overwrite those files before "undeleting". I wish I could be of more help but you may find that or similar scripts somewhere on the web. Best o f Luck! |
