OS: XP SP2, Sabayon Linux
|
Am running XP SP2 and Sabayon Linux on a dual boot. Machine is a Dell
Inspiron E1505 with 2 GB memory, 360 GB storage. Problem is with linux recognizing the system modem. Specs are as follows: Conexant HDA D119 MDC v.92. Port = 115200. INIT = M1. COM PORT = COM 3. FIFO Buffer = 16550 UART. Having installed and tested several "Live CDs" of different builds of linux, I have had no progress in testing every modem configuration in each version of linux. Any suggestions or where drivers (if available), can be found will be appreciated. Please post here or contact me at: mwarwick@netzero.net. Thanks in advance for any help here.
