2 hard drives 2 oses what do i do?
i have 2 hard drives in my dell 4600. the new one has linux ubuntu on it with the server pac and the other has Xp on it. Ubuntu is the master and is working fine, but i cant find my other hard drive and much less i am not able to boot it up. how do i fix this?

It seems that Ubuntu did not incluce XP in the grub configuration file (the bootloader, in case you aren't aware). That would happen if the secondary drive with XP was unplugged when Ubuntu was installed, and therefore not aware of it's existance.
Add an entry like this to /boot/grub/menu.lst: title Windows XP root (hd1,0) # this assumes that xp is in the first parittion of the second disk map (hd0) (hd1) map (hd1) (hd0) makeactive chainloader +1 |
