Yellow Dog Linux?
Are the files im downloading from http://www.terrasoftsolutions.com/re...ownloads.shtml the actual YDL OS and i just have to burn them to a cd? Also would YDL be able to run on an iBook G3 Dual USB Late 2001 (October 16, 2001) - Minor revision

The mirrors look like they include the GPG Public Key you can use to verify the authenticity and integrity of the downloads.
As for the requirements, the Hardware section on the YDL website shows that it probably will work, however if the HDD is less than 10GB the installation may fail. |

Is there any Linux type OS like Fedora or Ubuntu which you would recommend. I want one which i can have to do command stuff for school for my Computer Systems Engineering Tech classes which is starting Perl and one that i can put some Eye candy on and make it look like a Windows or prefably a mac.
