switching to linux
so i've been really wanting to switch to linux lately but im not sure if i will be able to connect to my network in my house, currently we are all on windows, will i be able to connect to my network?

Most of the newer Linux versions probably won't have much trouble connecting to your network. You should download a Live CD and test it out. A lot of distrobutions offer these now, it basically just boots and runs the entire OS from a single CD so that you can see how effectively it will recognize your hardware and such, all without making any changes to your computer.

I'm doing exactly that now - and if I can set it up - anybody can. Ubuntu connected to my router (wired) no problems. I understand that wireless connections have been more problematic.
