live cd

Hi,
i want to install linux (anyversion). i am a first time user , but i dont want to partiton my hard disk. i think using a live cd i can use linux without partitioning my h.d. please send me some links , from which i can download linux. Somebody told me Ubuntu or kubuntu is best for first time users.

There are alot of good free Linux Live CD's, here are some:

PClinuxOS
http://www.pclinuxos.com/

Knoppix:
http://www.knoppix.net/

Ubuntu
http://www.ubuntu.com/

Those are the main three that I know. I personally like PClinuxOS the best. Hopefully soon I will have that as one of my main OS.
