Need help with Sharp Zaurus zr-5800

It is not initializing. The first message I got was that it was not getting enough power and to turn off, but I couldn't get rid of the message on the screen. I replaced the AA batteries and then the 2032 and use it with an AC adapter almost exclusively. After all the replacements, I tried a full reset, saying no to the hard reset and got my data back. I was out of town at the time and hoped to do a backup as soon as I got home. Since then, I have not been able to get to my data. It just cycles through a message that it cannot initialize (main memory problem) and to try the reset. I try the reset, say no, and it takes me back to the cannot initialize screen. Anything else I can try? It's like it is not getting power even though I've supplied all it could need. Any ideas would be much appreciated.
