Hi,
I wonder if anyone can tell me where do get the software from this site: http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/download.html I am trying to install DSL on my USB Stick but I don't know from where to get the software, I click on downloads but I get a list of mirror sites and I don't know which file to download. Would appreciate your help

You can choose any mirror site - they're all the same; that's why they are called mirrors.
Ideally, choosing the one closest to you should work out best for everyone - your download time will be shorter, and there will traffic on a smaller number of hops between the mirror site and you. But if you don't know which is closest, just guess, and if one doesn't seem to work correctly or is very slow, then try another one. Notice there are some that say ftp, and some http. If you don't know the difference, use whichever one works for you. I think the FTP protocol requires less data transfer. |
