MEPIS Update knocks out sound.
I have Mepis 6.5 on this PC. I updated at the package manager so out goes the sound. After this I read on Mepis forum to turn off the mixer at the icon by the clock before updates.Well there is a fix on the site but too bad we have no prior info on what will happen before we update. The Mint Bea.Bianca and Bianca KDE will crash your wireless if you click the update icon over on the low right of desktop.<> A good policy for Linux is to not get updates if everything functions. You can just add programs by the package manager .I hate repairs in Linux programs.>> http://www.mepis.org/node/1499
