New SQL Installation
I have recently installed the XAMPP package with PHP, Apache and MySQL on the Linux Box. I can't find where it says the default password for MySQL. The documentation is quite good but I just can't find this anywhere.

I dont know where the default password is, but have you tried to set a new password? the command is #mysqladmin -u root password yourrootsqlpassword
