Question fedora core 6 and wine x86_64 HowTo????

http://-x libxxf86dga1_1.0.0-0ubuntu3_i386.deb libs

i have fedora core 6 and when i enter the second command it says:

Msta, where did you find those commands? It won't work in Fedora, the dpkg command is Debian only.

Yes ubuntu is debian based and Fedora is not. That's your problem.
When I installed WINE on Fedora 5, I'm pretty sure I just did
yum install wine

ya, i did but my computer is a 64bit computer i need to "build it to a 64bit"
i installed all the recommedned packages on the oen wine hq they told me to install http://wiki.winehq.org/WineOn64bit#head-0c4af19bee119667b150d49208676cb1c972b5a4

scroll down to "building wine on fedora core 6 x86_64

i install the recommended packages no problem what do i do next?

o ya one more thing the recommended package had the wine-core i368 in it so ya i installed it

no, I think you don't have to do all this, that way is if you prefer to build it rather than install it from an RPM (precompiled). Because I read that wine is available on the Extras repository. So if you do yum install wine you shouldn't have to do anything else, maybe just install Wine Tools then configure it.
