Anyone here weard of or ever used Koppix 5.0?

I'm assuming you mean Knoppix. I've never used it but certainly heard of it. It's used mainly a a bootable "Live" CD but can also be installed on the hard drive. Was there anything in particular you wanted to know about it?

Knoppix is one of the best [if not the best] live CD distro.

It can be used very effectively even to access messed up partition, so works as a wonderful restoration toll beside a feature rich Linux.
