maxtor diamondmax 10 fried - help!!
hello
this is my first post
the drive is a Maxtor DiamondMax 10 PATA133
my flatmate plugged in my external HDD yesterday with the wrong power supply
it no longer works, doesnt spin or power up at all
on the circuit board on the back i can see one tiny component is all black and burnt out just near where the power plugs in
is it possible to replace just the circuit board to fix this problem and make the drive work again?
if so is it possible to get just a replacement circuit board?
any help would be greatly appreciated.
