did you use it ?? that's one of the connections I was talking about .. it could be that your card wants additional power .. it could be that you Motherboard also wants additional power ..
glad to see that you got the monitor to work from the laptop .. normally it's just a question of plugging in .. but depending upon the laptop might require a couple of keys to be pushed
