Thanks. You know how those companies are.

When they say "That'll be $X." I plan to do something along these lines:

"What am I paying you for? It was under warranty. When I bought the warranty, I was told it covered EVERYTHING aside from liquid damages to my laptop."

If they push it further, I've got this one:

"I paid $500 for a 3-year warranty I was told covered everything. If I was misled when I bought the warranty, I'd like my $500 back and you can take the fee out of that."

Man, I'm hoping I don't choke.

Thanks for all the help though. These answers will definitely help when I'm in the building process of my desktop.
