You have system drivers missing.. You need to repair windows using the installation CD. Insert the XP CD and load from the disc. press any key after the POST screen and windows will load from the disk.. Once it has loaded you will enter a blue screen with your current windows installation. There will be a few options on the bottom, Press "r" for repair then "enter". A MS-Dos utility will load, wait until you get a flashing "_" before you do anything. Then type "chkdsk" and then hit enter.. Hopefully this will fix the problem... You can also try "fixboot" in the utility.. Once you have done that type "exit" and the pc will restart. Remove the CD and boot like normal..

Also SATA drivers dont have a Master or a Slave function, it dosnt matter what order you have SATA drives
