Re: Can I reinstall display adapter without screen??

Ok you have another option. You can use your Windows XP CD to do a repair of the operating system. It should ask you to provide the drivers for the hardware while it's installing, at which point you can load the drivers off of the harddrive (should be in C:\ATI if you extracted them recently) or you can put them on a CD with another computer. To do this:

1.) Insert the Windows XP CD and boot from it
2.) Once it loads, select ENTER to install XP (NOT repair, yet)
3.) After agreeing to the terms, it should recognize your current XP installation (NOTE: If it does not, and gives you reformatting options for FAT32 or NTFS then STOP IMMEDIATELY; this is the wrong boot CD and will reformat your computer if you continue)
4.) Have it repair the current installation which will copy come files to the harddrive and restart
5.) This time do not press any key to boot from the CD, but alllow it to enter the Windows Installation and continue from there

You will need your XP product key handy, and your drivers extracted to some sort of media like a CD or your harddrive (flash drives MAY work, I haven't tried it this way). It should either automatically find the ATI driver or ask your to locate it, and after installing you should restart and be fine. Hope it works!
