Hi guys, I'm new here and just want to see if any of you guys can help me out with a couple problems.
Ok so I got a Samsung TFT-LCD television thats also a monitor for my laptop. The model for the lcd is LN-T1953h and I have a sony laptop from 2005? Not sure what the model is. Ok so the problem is that when i plug in the cable from the monitor to my laptop it won't work. It worked for my dad's laptop and my laptop worked for another monitor. So can anyone try to help me what's wrong here? Are the monitor and my laptop just not compatible?

Another problem is that whenever I insert a blank dvd disk in my dvd drive, it shows that it has 0 bytes. Ok so hopefully you guys can help. Thanks.
