the upgrade to a sata hard drive is more of a case airflow improvement than computer performance improvement ?

the thin cables of sata make them a dream for increasing the air flow inside your box for sure! but performance increase will be almost non noticible ?

however when you upgrade to a new system in the future / the sata drive will be salvagable>>>> the ide drive is nearing extinction fast
