Set your boot order to CD first,hardrive second.
Put your XP install CD in the drive and restart your computer.
It will find the xp cd and ask you to press any key to boot from cd.
Start the install and it will give you the option to format the partition that you are going to install to (this will erase all drivers and data from your old installation)that is on that partition
