Re: Vista/XP files wizard help;
dai ??
Question that I'm sure you can explain but I'd like to have a better understanding. The easy transfer wizard doesn't ask where to store it's files and doesn't ask where to restore from ---- so if I disconnect the XP drive, what since is there running easy transfer in Vista as it will not find any XP file settings on a disconnected drive!!!
The easy transfer wizard created a ton of files in the XP C:\ drive -- Files like .src .RDO and folders like SxsAsm10 and many - many more.
How is Easy transfer wizard going to find any XP created files inside of vista??
This easy transfer wizard just makes lot's of files at the root of C:\ , there must be a better method, let's forget this application, it wants us to buy an expensive transfer cable anyway, all I want to do is go from C:\ to D:\
Surely, someone has something better and free?
