I have voip with a westell modem and linksys router. They have worked in tandem without failure for three years. without warning or change (no downloads or new hw/sw), I can no longer view web pages. This didn't even happen at start up, it happened in the middle of the day while successfully browsing the net.
I am online it seems and can call out and receive calls. The hardware shows all appropriate green lights, the bill is paid, and the cords are secure. I can download email via outlook but cannot check any other web-based mail account. I can run live update, connect to symantec, and download virus definitions without error or sluggishness.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled IE7, and still nothing.

Could this be viral?
