I kind of knew that was to good to be true. I installed the windows transfer msi (as told) to my XP using the option transfer to local ext hard-drive and it was successful and gave me a password to write down.

I booted over to Vista (it runs on a different HD on active partition D:\) and ran the Windows easy transfer msi, installed and got this error:

""Windows was found on multi drives and C:\ is not active. This is currently not a supported scenario.""

That's it, I had to "OK" out to exit, didn't work??

Any ideas....??
